Pastor Paul VanCise
Pastor Paul VanCise, is the Sr. Pastor at Bryant Wesleyan Church. He and His wife Angelyn started serving in Bryant on Labor Day 2003. They have been married 32 years and have four children. Pastor Paul graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Studies and in 1995 with a Master of Arts Degree, also from IWU. Each sermon he preaches comes by seeking God’s leading, staying true to the original Biblical setting and endeavoring to make them interesting and applicable. To relax Pastor Paul exercises regularly with the activity of choice being bicycling, pedaling over 3000 miles every year.

Patrick TierneyPatrick Tierney serves as Youth Pastor. He has 13 years of business experience with The McDonald’s Corporation. He and his wife Jessica have four children. They live in Bluffton, IN. They come to us from Brookhaven Wesleyan in Marion, IN where they were active members for 8 years; involved in the Brookhaven Church in various ministries – especially in the children’s program. Patrick has served The Bryant Youth for five years. In addition to leading various ministries he is also pursuing Ordination in the Wesleyan church through on-line courses.

Joe SchmitJoe Schmit serves as Associate Pastor. He also works at Portland Forge. He and his wife Carrie have 4 adult children and live in Pennville. They have been a part of Bryant Wesleyan for about 17 years and served as missionaries in Honduras with WGM. Joe also served as a pastor at Faith Community Church. Joe was ordained in 2022 and has an Associates degree in Business and a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from IWU. Joe has a heart for missions and for reaching the community.
